Euro-Sound Studio is the personal studio of producer Peter Malmstroem. The studio was first set-up in 1998 and was relocated to larger premises in 2003. The studio is now located in the old and inspiring part of Copenhagen City in a pristine classic elegant building from the 18´th century, with large recreational areas only a few feet away from the lakes surrounding Copenhagen central city. Over the years the studio have seen several "overhauls" upgrades and updates and is today one of the most well equipped studios in the region. Studio A is the main working area where all main systems is located, the room is build as mainly a control/mixing room and provide a nice relaxed and quiet atmosphere as well as all tools needed for state-of-the-art mixing, production and mastering. Next to Studio A is a recreational/songwriting room with large sofas, TV and a small Pro Tools DAW to get the ideas printed. In spite of the studio mostly produce atmospheric, classic and ambient scores, there have been produced several other styles of music from jazz to techno/trance productions. Production is centered on the phrase "music with a cinematic feel", - scores for motion pictures, and TV is the main focus. All sound-development and composing is done under the name SKANTKIN.

Studio A (main studio)
The studio is based around a Digidesign ICON console, (up to 24Bit 192.000 kHz) and TC System 6000. There is a choice of Rupert Neve, Universal Audio 610 and Chandler TG, but also cutting edge Focusrite Liquid Preamps is used. Normal recording is straight to Pro Tools™ via Rubert Neve channels/preamps without the use or need for traditional mixers. Main monitor system Dynaudio AIR 20 w. sub and ADAM S3A, NF. Monitors Yamaha NS 10, Genelec 8020 All mixing within Pro Tools™HD, but with AMS Neve summing-option. The System is fully equipped with plug-ins from leading company Digidesign, Chandler Ltd. URS, Waves SSL, TC, Universal Audio, URS™ and Bombfactory™ in addition to classic outboard like Chandler TG-series ZENER, Focusrite ISA 110, UA610. Mastering is done with a mix of TC System 6000 and Universal Audio tools
A lot of synth and sounds are used in the productions so the studio is equiped with a large selection of soundmodules for sound-generation, many of them software based. Instruments from East West, Digidesign, Rob Papen, Arturia, and Spectrasonics among others and hardware synth from Dave Smith Prophet08, Access Virus TI.
